How to choose your first replica
A short guide to muzzle velocity, power type, and budget.
How to Choose Your First Airsoft Replica
When choosing your first airsoft replica, focus on three main factors: muzzle velocity, power system, and budget.
The replica’s power must comply with the limits of the fields where you plan to play. For beginners, AEG replicas are usually the best choice because they are reliable, easy to maintain, and perform well in different conditions.
M4 and AK platforms offer the widest selection of parts, magazines, and accessories. SMGs are compact and well suited for CQB, while sniper rifles and DMRs usually require more experience, tuning, and additional upgrades.
Plan your budget not only for the replica itself, but also for a battery, charger, magazines, protective eyewear, and high-quality BBs.
